Experience the legendary fish auction in the early hours of the morning, the diversity of the Adriatic Sea and the nuanced preparation. Afterwards, warm both body and soul with the legendary Moretta di Fano in the city’s oldest harbour bar – just as the fishermen have done for centuries! Then stroll into town to the weekly market in Fano and let yourself be enchanted by the noise of the traders, the smells and colours, the flair of the city.

Programme:

• Arrival on Fridays or earlier:
  • own arrival and check-in at Villa Cartoceto from 3:00 p.m.
• Saturdays:
  • get up at about 3:00 a.m.
  • small coffee and croissant
  • visit to the fish market with auction in Fano
  • Moretta breakfast at Caffè del Porto
  • followed by a visit to the weekly market and a stroll through the city
  • Lunch at a top seafood restaurant in Fano
  • and then return to Cartoceto

Shuttle services to and from the airports of Ancona, Rimini and Bologna can also be provided on request (not included in the price)
