Immerse yourself in the world of olives. Cartoceto, with its 23 km² municipal area, is home to around 1.1 million olive trees and has been a centre of olive growing and processing in central Italy since the 12th century.
In Italy alone, there are over 800 different types of olives that are processed and suitable for consumption. Olive varieties are distinguished, just as they are for grape varieties. We will introduce you to the secrets of harvesting, the centuries-old trees, the processing and the enjoyment of the freshest olive oils.
